For the last few days of our time in Boise, we did our best to have as much fun as possible! We stopped at The Brown Bear restaurant, which offers ice cream sundaes with every kid's meal... even breakfast! Gracie liked all the bears!
Then we made a stop at the Children's Discovery Center in downtown Boise. There was a bubble exhibit there, where I learned more than necessary about bubbles. The kids, especially Kyle ate it up!

Following our time in the Discovery Center, we walked over to the paddle boats for a leisurely (thigh-burning) ride. Gracie was in charge of steering while Ryan and I pedaled. Seriously, it was an inner-thigh workout for this pregnant Momma!

We ended our last night in Boise at Aunt Diane's house for one last night on the patio and time to visit with the family. Kianna and Gracie had yet another sleepover and this is how I found them in the morning!
We stopped at the Creperie to share a few crepes with the crew before heading to the airport. The strawberry crepe was the best, but apple pie and s'mores weren't too bad either!
We made it to Denver with no problem, but our flight kept getting pushed back to make it home. We ended up spending about 8 hours in the Denver airport... lots of coloring, movies, balloons, eating, and sitting.
We finally made it back to Kansas City around 1:30 am and our little munchkin still had enough energy to push Grandma around in the wheel chair. Seriously... she's always ready to go. Always. When we got home, she asked for a snack and a show because she wasn't tired. Who are you, Gracie?
As expected, the trip to Boise was absolutely lovely! We had the best time exploring the city and doing all the kids things we could find time for. Introducing Gracie to her family was the highlight of the trip for me and for her. She took to them right away, not shy at all. I'm not sure how much of our time there she will remember, but I will treasure the memories we made always.
