Even though I'm almost 3 weeks late blogging about it, Hattie's 6 months old now! Half a year has gone by and it went by fast! This baby girl is such a blessing to our family. She really is so content and so sweet. Her sleep habits are still amazing. She sleeps soundly for 12 hours at night and takes a couple of naps throughout the day totaling about 4 hours. She's a good sleeper for sure! Now that she's getting a little older and the weather is getting nicer, she's begun to discover all the fun life has to offer. Her current favorite activities include swinging outside, family walks, jumping in her jump-jump, and sucking on her toes!
At her 6 month doctor's appointment, everything looked good! She weighed in at 15 lbs. 12 oz, which puts her in the 50th percentile for weight. She's a long baby though, measuring 27 and 1/4 inches long. That's the 95 percentile for height, making her as tall as an 8 month old. She's met all of her other required milestones and Dr. Bays says she's perfect! She also got 3 shots at her appointment and took them like a champ. Both of my girls are so tough!

For Valentine's Day this year, we had a special family date night at home. We made cheese and chocolate fondue and enjoyed every bite! Hattie didn't get to try any of it, of course, but eating as a family is always a fun activity!

The last 6 months with Hattie have been so wonderful! I am blessed to be her Momma.
